Roughing It In Style: Temporary Kitchens

Most houses have a couple of baths. But not so many have a kitchen to spare.

So, before starting a major kitchen renovation, it is important to ask yourself: how many weeks can I put up with: a) eating take out, or b) cooking on a hot plate and doing dishes in the tub?

We insist that you choose option (c), the only option we offer: a temporary kitchen.

What does a temporary kitchen look like? It looks a lot like your old kitchen. Because it is your old kitchen. Our crew builds a temporary partition wall in a neighboring room. Then they dismantle the old kitchen and re-install it on that wall. All the appliances work. Flexible hoses bring in water and take out waste.

The renovation survival plan and the design program are integrated. Is there a better way?
